Govt raises petrol by Rs4.93, diesel by Rs7.15 per litre under daily pricing mechanism

ISLAMABAD, Jul 21 (APP):The federal government on Tuesday increased the prices of petroleum products for July 22, raising the price of petrol by Rs4.93 per litre and high-speed diesel (HSD) by Rs7.15 per litre under the newly introduced daily petroleum pricing mechanism.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products in line with the government’s new pricing system.
Under the revised rates, the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has been increased from Rs315.80 per litre to Rs320.73 per litre, up by Rs4.93.
The price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been raised from Rs360.06 per litre to Rs367.21 per litre, an increase of Rs7.15.
The revised prices will take effect from July 22, 2026.
