ISLAMABAD, Jul 30 (APP):The federal government on Thursday increased the prices of petroleum products under the revised petroleum pricing mechanism, with the new rates taking effect from July 31, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) revised the ex-depot prices of petroleum products in line with the pricing mechanism approved by the federal government.
Under the revised rates, the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has been increased by Rs1.09 per litre, from Rs335.06 to Rs336.15 per litre.
Similarly, the price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been raised by Rs2.42 per litre, increasing from Rs390.62 to Rs393.04 per litre.
The revised ex-depot prices will come into effect from July 31, 2026, the notification said.
