LAHORE, Dec 27 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday said the Pakistan Muslim League-N government was implementing the agenda of public service.
Talking to a delegation of Members Punjab Assembly belonging to PML-N and party office-bearers, here, he said billions of rupees were being spent on provision of education, health, clean drinking water, transport and other basic amenities to the masses.
He said under balanced development policy, special attention was being paid to the development of cities and rural areas of the province.
Mega projects were being implemented expeditiously throughout the province and a large number of people were benefiting from the development strategy of the Punjab government, he added.
He said the project of Lahore Orange Line Metro Train was also being implemented speedily and it would change the transport system of the country.
The Chief Minister said modern transport system was a sign of civilized societies and the PML-N government was utilizing every penny of public money in an honest and transparent manner for the welfare of the people.
He said work had been started on Metro Train Project which was a unique project in the history of the country and its completion would result in availability of intentional standard transport facility to the citizens.
Members of PML-N delegation while paying tributes to Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif for development of education and health sectors and bringing revolutionary changes in transport system, said the CM had developed the province in the real sense.
