Govt given relief to all sectors in budget 2016-17: Haroon

ISLAMABAD, June 5 (APP): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for
Revenue, Haroon Akhtar Sunday said that the government has given relief to all sectors including agriculture, industrial, export, railways, transport, energy and others to facilitate the masses.

The government has allocated hefty amount of Rs 115 billion for BISP to facilitate the poor masses. It has earmarked Rs 4 billion for Bait-ul-Mal to provide relief to the common man, he said while talking to PTV.
He termed the fiscal budget 2016-17 a people-friendly and it would provide relief to the common man.

Haroon Akhtar lauded the government efforts for agriculture sector as
it has announced a mega package in this budget for agriculture sector to facilitate the farmers.

The special assistant said the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) had also increased. The ratio of inflation had decreased in the country, he maintained.
