Govt. determined to ameliorate lot of poor people: Gandapur

DIKHAN May 10 (APP)::Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Biltistan Ali Ameen Gandapur has said that the PTI government was determined to ameliorate lot of the poor and deserving people and provision of basic amenities of life at their doorstep.

He said this while reviewing renovation work underway in building allocated for shelter home here the other day. Deputy Commissioner DIKhan Muhammad Umair was present on the occasion.

The minister was informed about the renovation of the shelter home. He was told that free medicines, food, accommodations would be provided to the needy people in the official Inn. The building was being renovated with full pace so that it could be inaugurated well in time.

The Federal Minister on this occasion said the government was not oblivious to the problems of the poor people and taking keen interest in provision of basic facilities to them.

Construction of Shelter Home was a part of these efforts, he said adding the administration must complete the renovation work in time.

He informed that Chief Minister KP would likely to inaugurate the shelter home during his visit. He said that departments involved in renovation of the shelter home should complete their work diligently.
