Govt. cuts petrol price by Rs.1, raises diesel by Rs3.37 per litre

The government on Monday revised petroleum product prices under the new daily pricing mechanism, reducing the price of petrol while increasing the rate of high-speed diesel (HSD) with effect from July 28.

ISLAMABAD, Jul 27 (APP): The government on Monday revised petroleum product prices under the new daily pricing mechanism, reducing the price of petrol while increasing the rate of high-speed diesel (HSD) with effect from July 28.
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), the price of Motor Spirit (petrol) has been reduced by Rs.1 per litre, from Rs335.18 to Rs334.18 per litre.
The price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) has been increased by Rs3.37 per litre, from Rs383.46 to Rs386.83 per litre.
The revised prices will come into effect from July 28, 2026.
