ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP):State Minister for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi Monday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was committed to further strengthen the national institutions to yield desirous results.
Nobody was above the law and constitution and action would be taken against law violators, he said talking to a private news channel.
The minister said National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had stated that billions of rupees were stolen across the country.
He said the looted money would be brought back to Pakistan and expressed hope that the incumbent government would come up to the aspirations of the masses.
He said the PTI government would fulfill all the pledges made during election campaign including provision of uninterrupted gas and power supply to the consumers.
To a query, he said a parliamentary commission would be constituted soon to address the reservations of opposition regarding rigging in general election.
The PTI government was effectively working to ensure development and prosperity in the country, he added.
