ISLAMABAD, April 30 (APP):President Dr Arif Alvi Tuesday said the present government was committed to provide conducive environment to the investors by ease of doing business.
He said this while talking to Alex Volkov, Chairman of LNG Market Development, ExxonMobil, who along with a delegation called on him at Aiwan-e-Sadr, a press release said.
During the call on, the president was briefed by ExxonMobil delegation about its ongoing and future investment ventures in Pakistan.
The president appreciated re-entry of ExxonMobil in Liquefied natural gas (LNG) sector of Pakistan. He encouraged ExxonMobil for further investment in upstream petroleum sector.
He urged ExxonMobil and other foreign investors to take benefit of the liberal foreign investment policy of the country.
He further underlined the need for collaborations of foreign investors with local partners in the form of joint ventures.
