Govt believes in transparent accountability: Qureshi

ISLAMABAD, Oct 8 (APP):Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi Monday said the government completely believed in impartial and transparent accountability.
Speaking in Upper House of the Parliament, he said, “It was the right of the opposition parties to discuss the issue of arrest of Shehbaz Sharif, but people have also right to know about both sides of the
stories.”
He said it was also fact that the country had been looted with both hands and people behind this loot and plunder should be arrested.
He was of the view that sometimes, people created hurdle in the accountability by terming it political victimization.
He said, “I condemn political victimization, in the past and today also.”
