Govt believes in transparency, accountability in financial management: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD, Apr 21 (APP): Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar on Thursday said present government believed in principles of transparency and accountability in financial management and fully
supported role of Auditor General to ensure that these principles
are followed in practice.

He said quality audit and financial discipline could help achieve the goal of good governance.

He expressed these views while receiving a delegation of the Indonesian State Audit Board (SAB) which was led by the Board Chairman, Harry Azhar Azis, at the Ministry of Finance.
