PESHAWAR, Feb 14 (APP):The federal government has appointed three independent directors, including a chairman from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Tribal Areas Electric Supply Company (TESCO), a company working to distribute electricity to tribal districts.
According to a notification issued by the Federal Ministry of Energy, Power Division, Islamabad, in this regard, former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa bureaucrat, ex.Secretary Energy and Power Engineer Muhammad Naeem has been appointed as the chairman of the board of directors while former civil servants Ms. Farah Hamid and Naveed Orakzai have been appointed as independent directors.
They will run the administrative affairs of the company under the Governance and Operation Act 2023. Their appointment has been made after the approval of a committee of the federal cabinet.
