Govt allocates Rs2200 millions for six initiatives under PM Youth Programme

The federal government has allocated Rs 2200 millions under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2026-27 for six key initiatives of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP).

ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): The federal government has allocated Rs 2200 millions under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2026-27 for six key initiatives of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP).
According to PSDP 2026-27 documents released on Friday, the largest allocation of Rs700 million has been earmarked for the Youth Development Centres (YDCs), Rs 500 million for the Kamyab Jawan Talent Hunt Youth Sports League and Rs 400 million for the Prime Minister’s National Volunteer Corps (NVC).
The PSDP documents show that Rs 300 million has been allocated for the establishment of Prime Minister’s E sports Arenas and Training Centres in Higher Education Institutions through the Higher Education Commission, Rs 250 million has been earmarked for the revised Prime Minister’s National Innovation Award and the Green Youth Movement under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme received an allocation of Rs 50 million.
