ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP):The government has earmarked Rs 23 million to finance the ongoing projects for the Human Rights Division (HRD) under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the financial year 2025-26.
According to a budgetary document released on Tuesday regarding PSDP allocations for the fiscal year 2025-26, Rs 12 million is specified to support the ongoing project of HRD under title of “Establishment of Project Planning and Monitoring Unit in MoHR (PMU).”
Another current project, the “Human Rights Awareness Programme,” will receive Rs 4 million.
Additionally, Rs. 7 million has been set aside for the “Human Rights Coordination and Monitoring Unit for National Mechanism for Reporting and Follow-up Framework,” another continuing initiative.
Meanwhile, no new schemes for MoHR had been introduced in PSDP.
