Govt allocates Rs 1,780.000 mln for Maritime Affairs Division under PSDP

The government has allocated Rs1,780.000 million for Maritime Affairs Division of its four ongoing schemes under the Public Sector Development Programmes (PSDP) for the fiscal year 2026-27. 

ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): The government has allocated Rs1,780.000 million for Maritime Affairs Division of its four ongoing schemes under the Public Sector Development Programmes (PSDP) for the fiscal year 2026-27.
According to the PSDP documents on Friday, Rs 780.000 earmarked for Maritime Affairs, its first ongoing scheme, such as modernization and upgradation of Gaddani Ship Breaking and Recycling Industry (Mugsbri) & Development of Allied Facilities at Gaddani.
The government allocated Rs 500.000 for the second ongoing scheme of land acquisition as per Gwadar Master Plan, 750 acres at Grandani Junubi.
Rs 250.000 earmarked for its third ongoing scheme of construction of Eastbay Expressway Phase-II (Grant-in-Aid) (GoP Share: Rs 1,749.243 Mn).
The government allocated Rs 250.000 for its fourth ongoing scheme of Infrastructure Works of Off-Dock Terminal at Gwadar.
