Governor eulogizes sacrifices of tribesmen for maintenance of peace

PESHAWAR, June 28 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Engr. Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has said that patriotic tribesmen had rendered great sacrifices for the peace of entire region and now the time has come to take potential measures for their welfare and resolving their basic problems.

He said steps are being taken for the maintenance of the lasting peace and the provision of modern education facilities to the tribal people and to improve the standards of education in this marginalized region.

He was talking to Member National Assembly from Kurram Agency Sajid Hussain Turi who called on him here at Governor House on Tuesday. All out efforts are being made for the development of FATA and to ensure the dignified return and rehabilitation of tribal people.

Member National Assembly discussed matters related to the well being of the people of the Agency with special focus on the provision of better education facilities to the people of the area.

He highlighted some of the problems and difficulties which the people of the agency are faced with and also put forward suggestions for their solution.

He also appreciated the efforts of the federal government especially the Governor for the restoration of peace particularly the successful and dignified return and rehabilitation process as well as provision of the better education facilities in FATA. Governor assured him to resolve the problems which the people of the area have been facing on priority.
