Government hospitals of capital city put on high alert.

ISLAMABAD, Oct 27 (APP): Minister of State, Capital Administration and
Development Division, Barrister Usman Ibrahim, has directed all the hospitals governed by CA and DD to declare high alert to deal with any untoward situation.
This direction came in the wake of the powerful earthquake that struck
almost half of the country on Monday.
Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Federal Government Polyclinic (FGPC) and National Institute of Rehabilitation (NIRM) have announced emergency in connection with the directions of the Minister of State (CA&DD).
The Minister has further directed to cancel leaves of doctors and Paramedical and ensure availability of adequate stocks of medicines in hospitals to deal with the situation.
Round the clock availability of doctors and staff should be ensured in this regard, he said.
Barrister Usman Ibrahim, said that proper treatment and rehabilitation of the people injured during the earthquake should be the priority of the management of the hospitals.
