ISLAMABAD, Nov 20 (APP):Acting President of Pakistan, Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani on Thursday paid glowing tribute to Pakistani athletes Arshad Nadeem and Yasir Sultan for their remarkable achievements at the Islamic Solidarity Games.
The acting president said that Arshad Nadeem’s gold medal and Yasir Sultan’s silver medal have not only made the nation proud but also stand as clear proof of their exceptional hard work, dedication, and perseverance. He noted that the outstanding performance of Pakistani athletes on the global stage continues to enhance the country’s prestige.
Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani expressed great satisfaction that both Arshad Nadeem and Yasir Sultan have earned new honours for Pakistan through their exemplary performance. He also appreciated the commitment and efforts of national athletes and their coaches, saying that their tireless work has consistently raised Pakistan’s flag high in international arenas.
