ISLAMABAD, Jun 15 (APP):Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Monday expressed deep sorrow over the tragic crash of a Pakistan Air Force training aircraft near Mardan, which resulted in the martyrdom of two pilots, Flight Lieutenant Muhammad Qasim Abdullah and Lieutenant Taha Abbasi.
Paying tribute to the officers, he offered prayers for the elevation of their ranks and for strength and patience for the bereaved families.
Gilani said the courageous officers made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while performing their responsibilities with dedication and professionalism.
He added that the entire nation stands in solidarity with the grieving families during this difficult time.
The Chairman Senate also extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and the Pakistan Air Force.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed souls in eternal peace and grant their families the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
