ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP):Chairman Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, on Wednesday expressed profound sorrow and grief over the tragic crash of a Pakistan Army Aviation MI-17 helicopter near Muzaffarabad, which resulted in the loss of precious lives.
Paying tribute to the personnel who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, the Chairman Senate stated that the nation would always remember the sacrifices of its brave sons.
He emphasized that those who laid down their lives while safeguarding the country, defending national interests, and fulfilling their responsibilities were a source of pride for the entire nation.
Chairman Senate remarked that the services and sacrifices of the martyrs constitute a bright chapter in the country’s history and can never be forgotten.
Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani also extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families of the martyrs. He stated that the entire nation stood in solidarity with the grieving families and shared in their sorrow during this difficult time.
