Ghana Defence delegation visits Ministry of Defence Production

A high-level defence delegation from Ghana, headed by Abdul-Razak Osman, National Security Coordinator, and accompanied by Lt Gen William Agyapong, Chief of Defence Staff of Ghana, visited the Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP) here on Tuesday.

RAWALPINDI, Jun 16 (APP): A high-level defence delegation from Ghana, headed by Abdul-Razak Osman, National Security Coordinator, and accompanied by Lt Gen William Agyapong, Chief of Defence Staff of Ghana, visited the Ministry of Defence Production (MoDP) here on Tuesday.
Upon arrival, the delegation was warmly received at the Ministry, said a press release issued here.
The delegates exchanged views and deliberated on proposals of defence collaboration of mutual benefits.
The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation and enhance defence-industrial collaboration between Pakistan and Ghana. It reflected the shared commitment of both countries to further deepen their longstanding relations in the defence sector.
During the visit, the delegation undertook visits to various defence production facilities and related organizations to gain first-hand insight into Pakistan’s defence industrial capabilities.
The engagement provided an important opportunity for both sides to explore avenues of mutual interest, exchange expertise, and identify potential areas of cooperation in defence production, technology transfer, capacity building, and industrial partnerships.
Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to promote mutually beneficial collaboration and to further expand cooperation in the defence production sector in the future.
