Funeral prayer for Lt Col Khalid Hussain Shaheed offered

RAWALPINDI, May 06 (APP): The funeral prayer of Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Hussain Shaheed was offered at the Headquarters of Frontier Corps Balochistan (North) in Quetta.

Lt Col Khalid Hussain embraced martyrdom while displaying extraordinary bravery during an operation in Balochistan.

A large number of senior political, military, and civil officials attended the funeral.

The participants paid rich tribute to the brave officer, who laid down his life in the line of duty for the motherland.

They described his great sacrifice as an enduring example of courage and commitment to the peace and stability of the country.

Lt Col Khalid Hussain Shaheed will be laid to rest in his native village with full military honors.
