ISLAMABAD, May 28 (APP):Pilgrims arriving at Masjid al-Haram to perform Tawaf Al-Ifadah after the Eid sacrifice ritual were welcomed with the fragrance of roses and incense in a spiritual atmosphere during Hajj 1447 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), reception teams of the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque were deployed across entrances, corridors and courtyards carrying incense burners and natural flowers to greet pilgrims arriving for Tawaf.
Multilingual welcoming and guidance messages were displayed on digital screens while field teams guided pilgrims towards Tawaf and Sa’i areas smoothly and peacefully.
SPA told APP that authorities intensified cleaning, sanitization and crowd-management operations throughout the Grand Mosque to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for pilgrims during the Day of Al-Nahr, commonly known among Pakistani pilgrims as the day of Eid sacrifice.
Guidance teams remained active across the Grand Mosque to assist pilgrims, answer inquiries and facilitate movement in crowded areas.
Authorities also continued providing support services, including guest care centers, luggage storage facilities and assistance for elderly pilgrims and persons with disabilities.
The welcoming atmosphere inside the Grand Mosque reflected Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to facilitate pilgrims and help them perform Hajj rituals with peace, comfort and spiritual satisfaction.
