Four win their berths in Senate

ISLAMABAD, Mar 03 (APP):A total of four candidates of FATA have won their coveted berths in Senate by securing seven votes each here on Saturday in Senate elections.
According to unofficial results, Senator designate Hidayatullah, Hilal-ur-Rehman, Shamim Muhammad Afridi and Mirza Muhammad Afridi would represent FATA in Senate for next six years term.
Seven members of National Assembly from Federally Administered Tribal Areas cast their votes on Saturday while rest abstained from voting. As many as 24 candidates were vying for four seats.
