WAH CANTT, Aug 10 (APP): Four custom officials were killed in road accident while chasing smugglers on Islamabad- Peshawar motorway near village Jando in limits of Taxila Police station on early hours of Wednesday.
Motorway police sources told APP that a vehicle of Customs
anti-smuggling cell went off the road in a high-speed and fell in a ditch.
As a result four persons died on the spot. Reportedly, the
personnel were chasing smugglers when they met a fatal accident.
Sources told that Amir was driving the vehicle while constable Shakeel, Ijaz and Jameel were onboard the four-wheel drive.
Meanwhile, hunt is underway with the help of Motorway Police to catch the smugglers.
