Former APP-Islamabad Bureau Chief dies

ISLAMABAD, Dec 20 (APP): Muhammad Khan Naqshbandi, a senior journalist and former Bureau Chief of the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), Islamabad, died in Rawalpindi on Tuesday evening. He was 95.
Funeral prayers for the deceased will be held at Jamia Mosque near his residence F-653, New Katarian Market, Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, after Asr Prayers (3.00 p.m.) on Wednesday.
According to the family sources, the deceased has left behind two sons and three daughters to mourn his death.
Late Muhammad Khan Naqshbandi, who had been holding important editorial positions in APP, also served as APP-Islamabad Bureau Chief till early 1980s.
