ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (APP): Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives from friendly countries have extended warm felicitations to the government and people of Pakistan on the occasion of the country’s 80th Independence Day, reaffirming their commitment to stronger bilateral ties, peace and regional prosperity.
Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Movlamov conveyed heartfelt greetings on behalf of the diplomatic community, praising Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic engagement and efforts toward peace and dialogue.
He also highlighted the longstanding Turkmenistan-Pakistan friendship and appreciated the government, Foreign Ministry, state institutions, media and business community for their support to the diplomatic corps.
Ambassador of Indonesia Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo underscored the close historical, cultural and religious bonds between Indonesia and Pakistan, noting the significance of their national days falling just three days apart. He wished Pakistan continued peace, prosperity and development, concluding with “Pakistan Zindabad.”
Uzbek Ambassador, Alisher Tukhtaev expressed confidence in the further expansion of bilateral relations, particularly in economic integration and new areas of cooperation. He prayed for Pakistan’s strength, unity, prosperity and a peaceful future.
Philippine Ambassador, Dr Emmanuel R. Fernandez also extended warm greetings, highlighting Pakistan’s efforts toward economic prosperity and the enduring relationship between the two countries, which spans more than seven decades.
Egyptian Ambassador, Dr Ihab Abdelhamid reaffirmed the deep-rooted historical and fraternal ties between Egypt and Pakistan, expressing his desire to expand cooperation in political, economic and cultural fields. He wished Pakistan continued peace, security and prosperity.
Vietnamese Ambassador, Pham Anh Tuan also extended warm congratulations, noting the continued strengthening and expansion of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Pakistan across various fields.
Tajik Ambassador Yusuf Toir Sharifzoda, described Pakistan as an important partner for Tajikistan and highlighted the two countries’ centuries-old historical and cultural links. He expressed confidence that their strategic partnership would continue to grow.
Kyrgyz Chargé d’Affaires, Aibek Tilebaliev reaffirmed the close friendship between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan and expressed hope for greater cooperation and stronger bilateral relations, concluding with “Pakistan Zindabad.”
Russian Ambassador Albert P. Khorev praised the courage and determination of the Pakistani people and highlighted the constructive relations between Russia and Pakistan. He expressed confidence in further expanding bilateral cooperation and concluded with “Pakistan Zindabad! Rus-Pak Dosti Paindabad!”
The messages collectively reflected the diplomatic community’s goodwill toward Pakistan and their shared hopes for the country’s continued peace, stability, prosperity and development.
