First Lady Asifa Bhutto visits Spencer Eye Hospital in Lyari
KARACHI, Jul 28 (APP):First Lady and Member of the National Assembly, Asifa Bhutto Zardari, on Tuesday visited the Spencer Eye Hospital in Lyari, which has recently been renovated and modernized under a public-private partnership by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation led by Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab and the Government of Sindh.
During the visit, she was briefed that the hospital is providing free outpatient (OPD) services to around 4,000 patients daily. Since April 2026, more than 700 laser and other medical procedures have been successfully performed at the facility.
The First Lady reviewed the free and quality healthcare services being provided at the hospital and appreciated the dedication and professional commitment of the doctors, paramedical staff and the entire hospital team for serving the public.
Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, Member of the National Assembly Shazia Marri, and other officials accompanied First Lady Asifa Bhutto Zardari during the visit.
