ISLAMABAD, Oct 22 (APP): First Lady Aseefa Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday extended her heartfelt congratulations to Japan’s newly appointed Prime Minister, Sanae Takaichi, marking a milestone for women in leadership and an inspiring moment for the region.
“Congratulations to Sanae Takaichi @takaichi_sanae on becoming #Japan’s first woman Prime Minister — a historic milestone for women in leadership and a proud moment for Japan. May she lead with the same courage and conviction that defined Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto’s legacy as the Muslim world’s first and Pakistan’s only woman Prime Minister,” Aseefa Bhutto Zardari wrote on X.
In her post, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also emphasised the global significance of this moment: “a historic milestone for women in leadership and a proud moment for Japan.”
