ISLAMABAD, Sep 01 (APP): A fire broke out at Babar Plaza in Islamabad’s F-8 area on Tuesday, prompting a rescue operation to evacuate people trapped inside the building.
According to the Capital Development Authority (CDA), rescue teams have so far safely evacuated 12 people from the plaza.
The CDA said that no casualties were reported in the incident while efforts to evacuate any remaining people trapped inside the building were continuing.
The cause of the fire was being determined, the CDA added.
