Firdous for close coordination among info ministry departments

LAHORE, Apr 22 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Monday said all the attached departments of Ministry of Information needed to work in close coordination for projecting a soft image of Pakistan.
The officers of Information Ministry should make selfless efforts for the purpose, she said here during her interaction with the officers of Press Information Department, Associated Press of Pakistan, Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation and Pakistan Television.
Firdous said Prime Minister Imran Khan was a patriotic Pakistani. He was the only hope for the nation as he had passion, dedication and vision to change the country’s destiny through institutional reforms.
She said the information ministry was the prime example of women empowerment in the public sector as they were performing their duties at its top positions.
The federal information ministry, she said, must maintain perfect liaison with the information wings of the Punjab government and work in close coordination with them.
She said the government would ensure that performance of any state institution did not deteriorate in future.
She stressed the need for capacity building of the staff of attached departments of the ministry for projecting Pakistan’s image as an enlightened, moderate and progressive country. “All of us should pay back to the country with our dedicated work for its progress and prosperity,” she added.
