Firdous deplores character assassination of Shabbar Zaidi

ISLAMABAD, May 9 (APP):Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan Thursday deplored character assassination of talented and professional Chartered Accountant Shabbar Zaidi.
The SAPM, in a tweet message, said Shabbar Zaidi, who has been appointed as Chairman Federal Board of Revenue, was the most high taxpaying chartered accountant in the country.
The previous government has given him an award for paying the highest tax, she said, adding Shabbar Zaidi was highly respectable chartered accountant and his character assassination was ‘condemnable and regrettable.’
