ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP):Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has strongly condemned the firing incident at Qureshi Mor on Bypass Road in Dera Ismail Khan that claimed the lives of two personnel of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Enforcement Squad.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, the minister paid tribute to Arm Guard Rahmatullah and Sepoy Sulaiman, who were killed while performing their official duties.
Aurangzeb expressed his condolences to the families of the deceased officials and prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace. He said the incident had caused deep grief across the FBR community and extended his support to the families of the martyred personnel.
The minister directed the relevant authorities to investigate all aspects of the incident and expressed hope that those responsible would be identified and brought to justice.
He reaffirmed the government’s support for FBR officials performing enforcement duties and acknowledged their continued commitment to carrying out their responsibilities despite challenging circumstances.
