Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir holds key talks with PLA leadership in China

RAWALPINDI , Jul 25 (APP): Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir on Friday held a high-level meeting with General Chen Hui, Political Commissar of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA), during his official visit to China.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), upon his arrival at the PLA Headquarters, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was presented with a ceremonial Guard of Honor, underscoring the host nation’s deep respect and warm reception.

The meeting featured wide-ranging discussions on bilateral defense cooperation and regional security.
Both leaders engaged in a comprehensive exchange on defense and security cooperation during their meeting.
