The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone has shifted its Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk from the zonal office to Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) to provide passengers with travel and immigration guidance before they leave the country.
FIA shifts pre-departure facilitation desk to Islamabad Airport for passengers
ISLAMABAD, Oct 06 (APP):The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone has shifted its Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk from the zonal office to Islamabad International Airport (IIAP) to provide passengers with travel and immigration guidance before they leave the country.
An FIA official told on Tuesday that the desk had been established at Islamabad International Airport and was now fully operational.
The official said the main purpose of the desk was to make the departure process easier and hassle-free for passengers travelling abroad.
The desk will provide the following services:
Travel Guidance: Complete guidance and assistance regarding overseas travel.
Travel Documents: Necessary information about travel documents required for travelling abroad.
Immigration Assistance: Guidance and assistance regarding immigration procedures.
Queries and Complaints: Quick response to passengers’ queries and complaints.
Departure Assistance: Help to make the overseas departure process smooth and easier for passengers.
The FIA advised passengers who need guidance or assistance before travelling abroad to directly approach the Pre-Departure Facilitation Desk at Islamabad International Airport.
Passengers can also contact the desk at 0300-5805760 for assistance, the official added.
