FGP CEO describes Allama Iqbal as visionary thinker

ISLAMABAD, Apr 21 (APP): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP), Muhammad Anwar, has described Allama Muhammad Iqbal as a visionary thinker whose ideas continue to shape the intellectual and ideological foundation of Pakistan.

In his message on Iqbal’s death anniversary, he paid rich tribute to the Poet of the East. He said that Allama Iqbal was not only a poet but also a philosopher, reformer, and architect of a progressive vision for the Muslim Ummah. His concept of Khudi empowered individuals to recognize their inner potential, self-respect, and responsibility toward society.
Muhammad Anwar noted that Iqbal’s message remains highly relevant in today’s context, particularly for the youth, who must equip themselves with knowledge, innovation, and ethical leadership to overcome contemporary challenges.
He emphasized that Iqbal’s philosophy encourages a balance between spiritual values and modern development, which is essential for building a just and prosperous society.
He further stated that organizations such as FGP draw inspiration from Iqbal’s thought to promote youth empowerment, civic responsibility, and inclusive development. “Iqbal envisioned a society rooted in dignity, equality, and opportunity. It is our collective responsibility to translate his ideas into practical action,” he added.
Highlighting the need for renewed commitment, he urged educational institutions, policymakers, and civil society to integrate Iqbal’s teachings into learning systems and public discourse. He said that only by internalizing Iqbal’s vision can Pakistan move towards sustainable progress and social harmony.
Muhammad Anwar concluded by calling upon the nation, especially the younger generation, to revisit Iqbal’s poetry and philosophy not merely as literary heritage, but as a guiding framework for personal growth and national development.
