FGP, Accountability Lab host Pakistan Digital Democracy Dialogue 2026
ISLAMABAD, Aug 05 (APP):Freedom Gate Prosperity (FGP), in collaboration with Accountability Lab, hosted the Pakistan Digital Democracy Dialogue 2026 under the DDI South Asia initiative, here on Wednesday.
The dialogue was themed “Digital Pakistan for All: Trust, Rights and Responsible Innovation.” It focused on information integrity, digital civic space, artificial intelligence (AI), GovTech, and inclusive digital transformation.
Distinguished speakers and experts included Murtaza Solangi, Spokesperson to the President of Pakistan; Brigadier Dr. Muhammad Mukarram Khan, Director General, Cyber Vigilance Division, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA); Farhat Javed Rabani, Correspondent, BBC Eye Investigations; Dr. Saad S. Khan, Additional Secretary, Revenue Division, Ministry of Finance; Professor Dr. Yasar Ayaz, Chairman, National Centre of Artificial Intelligence (NCAI); Sidra Jalil, Founder of InspireMill and President of OPEN Islamabad; and Sharjeel Murtaza, Chief Digital Officer, Karandaaz Pakistan.
The dialogue brought together government officials, policymakers, media professionals, technology experts, and civil society leaders to develop practical recommendations for building a trusted, inclusive, and rights-based digital future for Pakistan.
