ISLAMABAD, Sep 16 (APP):Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) successfully concluded the two-day auction of commercial plots located in the prime sectors of G-13 and G-14, Islamabad. A total of 16 commercial plots were sold during the auction, generating revenue of Rs 10.3 billion.
The auction witnessed strong participation and keen interest from investors, with competitive bids received for various commercial plots. The auctioned properties included prime commercial locations in G-13 and G-14, including G-14 Markaz.
The highest-value plot, Commercial Plot No. 8 measuring 2,000 square yards in G-14 Markaz, was sold for PKR 1.95 billion. The plot attracted significant interest from investors and received competitive bids during the auction.
Director General FGEHA, Captain (Retired) Zafar Iqbal, expressed his satisfaction over the successful conclusion of the auction and stated that the response from investors reflected their confidence in FGEHA and the potential of commercial investment in Islamabad.
Director General congratulated all officers, concerned wings, the administrative team and staff of the Authority for the successful conduct of the auction and appreciated their efforts and dedication in making the arrangements and ensuring a transparent and well-organized auction process.
He also extended his special thanks to all respected investors who participated in the auction, stating that their active participation and confidence played an important role in making the auction a success.
Director General further stated that FGEHA would soon conduct auctions of additional commercial properties to provide investors with new and attractive investment opportunities. He reiterated the Authority’s commitment to continuing measures aimed at providing investors with a transparent, organized and facilitative environment, thereby promoting commercial activities and investment in Islamabad.
Federal Government Employees Housing Authority has established an Investor Facilitation Cell to facilitate investors and ensure the prompt resolution of their issues. The Cell is being supervised by the Director (Staff).
The Investor Facilitation Cell provides investors with a centralized and direct mechanism for communication with the Authority.
Investors will not be required to visit different offices or wings for guidance or resolution of their issues. Instead, they may directly approach the Director (Staff) regarding any matter, query, request or issue.
The Director (Staff) will coordinate investors’ issues and requests with the concerned wings, monitor progress on such matters, and ensure that the required action is completed by the relevant wings so that timely facilitation is provided to investors.
The primary objective of this initiative is to provide investors with efficient, transparent, prompt and convenient services through a centralized mechanism, while making the investment process easier, more streamlined and reliable.
