Festival begins to promote KP art, culture through IT

PESHAWAR, Nov 21 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkha Board of Information Technology in a collaboration with the World Bank and Pakhtunkha Tourism Corporation oraginze a two days ‘ArtTech’ festival here on Saturday to promote art and culture of the Province through Information Technology.
Talking to APP organizer Muhammad Uzair of Peshawar 2.0 said that the two days event is an opportunity to promote indigenous culture and art of the province through the effective use of Information Technology.He said the festival is a showcase of the basic creative and innovative skills of KP youth to enable them find opportunities of employment and self-employment in the local and international job markets.He further said that it is a first step in raising awareness and building a community of KP youths interested in art and technology he added. About 20 stalls including food stall, cultural stall, art stalls, music
and technical workshop were arranged in the festival.
A medical student of Khyber Medical University Danish Akhtar Khattak was
set up a stall by displaying his own artistic work by making pictures of Spider Man, PTI Chief Imran Khan and others.
He said that having his fashion from class 8th adding that he would make
medical things like body organs and others in future.
Others students from Information Technology University Lahore, Zarmeena
Tanveer, Ali Hassan Raza and Shahab Shahid who were made a teaching tree for children learning.
They said that they feel very happy adding that Peshawarits liked their
fun. They said that they will promote their fun more and will play a vital role for the development of country.
