Federal Ombudsman’s team to hold open court in Mirpur, AJK on December 5

ISLAMABAD, Dec 01 (APP): On the directives of Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi, a team comprising Director General Muhammad Ashfaq Ahmed and Consultant Khalid Sial will hold an open court (Khuli Kachehri) on Friday, December 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the PWD Rest House, Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
Local officers from relevant federal departments will also be present,said in a Press Release issued here on Monday.
During the open court, officers of the Federal Ombudsman’s Secretariat will hear public complaints against federal government institutions and issue on-the-spot directions to the concerned departments for their immediate resolution.
It is pertinent to mention that this initiative is part of the Federal Ombudsman’s Outreach Complaint Resolution (OCR) program, aimed at providing justice to citizens at their doorstep.
The Federal Ombudsman has instructed the concerned authorities of various federal agencies—including electricity and gas utilities, NADRA, Benazir Income Support Programme, Passport Office, Postal Life Insurance, State Life Insurance Corporation, and Pakistan Post Office—to ensure their participation in the event.
