ISLAMABAD, Jul 09 (APP):In a significant move to bridge Pakistan’s cultural legacy with future-oriented learning, Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Khalid Hussain Magsi and Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi Wednesday convened a high-level meeting aimed at deepening collaboration between their ministries.
The meeting focused on leveraging modern scientific tools to protect and promote Pakistan’s diverse cultural and historical assets, while fostering educational programs that integrate science, history, and the arts.
Both ministers underscored the role of heritage not just as a remnant of the past, but as a living foundation for national identity and youth empowerment.
Aurangzeb Khichi emphasized that educating the younger generation about Pakistan’s rich cultural roots is vital for nurturing unity and pride.
Khalid Magsi echoed the sentiment, stressing the need for interdisciplinary innovation that ties technology with tradition.
As a concrete step forward, the two ministries agreed to form a joint working group tasked with designing actionable projects, facilitating regular coordination, and implementing integrated educational and heritage initiatives.
The collaboration signifies a broader vision of the government to build a progressive and informed society grounded in its historical depth and scientific advancement.
