Federal Minister Noor-ul-Haq meets Dr Tahirul Qadri

LAHORE, Oct 08 (APP):Federal Minister for Religious
Affairs and Inter-Faith Harmony Dr Noor-ul-Haq met
Quaid Tehrik Minhajul Quran Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri at his residence,
here on Monday.
During the meeting, Dr Qadri congratulated the minister
over taking charge of his office and expressed good wishes
for him. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohyuddin, Khuram
Nawaz Gandapur and others were also present.
The federal minister termed the fatwa given by Idara
Minhajul Quran and Dr Tahirul Qadri against terrorism and
suicide bombing great service to the cause of Islam and
humanity. He said that national and international services
of Idara Minhajul Quran regarding promotion of peace and
knowledge were commendable.
He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri contributed to the cause of
Islam in the shape of his hundreds of books to guide the
Muslim Ummah.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Qadri said that Quranic
Encyclopedia comprising seven volumes would be presented
in the holy month of Rabiul Aawal.
Earlier, the federal minister went to the central
secretariat of Idara Minhajul Quran where Director Interfaith
Harmony Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director Foreign Affairs GM Malik
and officials received the minister warmly. He also visited
different departments of the Idara.
On the occasion, the minister vowed to benefit from the
vision of Dr Tahirul Qadri regarding national harmony and
for eradicating sectarianism. He said that peaceful ulema and
mashaikh were a symbol of national solidarity.
