ISLAMABAD, Jan 09 (APP):As part of its ongoing efforts to modernize public education, the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), on the directions of Federal Secretary Education Mr. Nadeem Mahbub, is accelerating the adoption of Educational Technology (EdTech) across schools through a range of digital interventions aimed at strengthening teaching practices and improving learning outcomes.
A key step in this effort was a comprehensive training session conducted under the EdTech Digital Interventions program, hosted at Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG)
(PG) G-10/4 on Friday. The session brought together 400 educators from all schools and colleges and served as a practical demonstration of how digital tools and platforms are being integrated into classroom teaching across the system.
The importance of this  initiative was underscored by the visit of Secretary Education who interacted with educators and institutional leadership during the session.
The Secretary emphasized that EdTech interventions are essential for fostering inclusive, modern, and high-quality educational environments across all sectors, and highlighted their role in reducing disparities between urban and rural classrooms.
Use of IT technologies are allowing teachers to design more engaging, student-centered lessons and adapt instruction to different learning platforms. As these initiatives continue to expand, educators are showing increased confidence in integrating technology into daily teaching and  aim to better prepare both teachers and students for the demands of a technology-driven world.
