ISLAMABAD, Nov 24 (APP): The Federal Constitutional Court on Monday dismissed a request seeking permission for a court-sanctioned meeting with PTI founder to obtain legal instructions.
During the hearing of the plea, the lawyer argued that a meeting with his client was necessary following the detailed judgment, and requested that the court allow the meeting under Article 187 of the Constitution.
Chief Justice Ameen ud Din Khan made it clear that the constitutional court could not issue such an order. The court observed that the applicant should approach the relevant trial court for permission to meet the detained political leader.
