ISLAMABAD, Dec 16 (APP):The Federal Constitutional Court on Tuesday heard a petition concerning the recruitment of headmasters in Balochistan. A three-member bench headed by Justice Aminuddin Khan directed that the names of successful candidates for headmasters’ posts should not be published until further orders.
The court issued notices to the Government of Balochistan and the Balochistan Public Service Commission (BPSC), seeking their replies. During the hearing, petitioner Fahim Khan was represented by his counsel Amanullah.
The petitioner raised objections to the recruitment process for headmasters’ posts in the education department, arguing that ineligible candidates were allowed to appear in the examination by ignoring the mandatory requirement of a B.Ed degree, in violation of the prescribed rules and regulations.
The petition further alleged that the Balochistan Public Service Commission failed to adhere to the conditions set out in its own advertisement issued in December 2024.
After issuing notices to the respondents, the court adjourned further hearing of the case to a later date.
