LAHORE, Jan 13 (APP):Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Sunday directed that all matters related to the Jalalpur Irrigation Project (JIP) should be completed at the earliest so that Prime Minister Imran Khan could inaugurate it in March.The minister issued the directive while chairing a meeting here at the Punjab Irrigation Department to review matters pertaining to the JIP. Project Director Khalid briefed the minister about the project.
Different matters like land acquisition, recruitment of project implementation consultants, structures on JIP canal system and others were discussed in the meeting.
Punjab Irrigation Minister Mohsin Leghari, Secretary Irrigation Syed Ali Murtaza and others were also present.
