ISLAMABAD, Apr 02 (APP): A Fateha Khwani and condolence gathering was held at Sweet Home here Thursday for the daughter of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman. The ceremony was attended by prominent political leaders, social figures and children residing at Sweet Home, who gathered to offer prayers for the departed soul.
Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani, along with Federal Ministers Musadik Malik, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan and Chaudhry Salik Hussain attended the gathering. Senior political figures including Khursheed Shah, Nayyar Bukhari and former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi were also present.
Among others in attendance were Senators Faisal Javed Khan, Zeeshan Khanzada and Azam Swati, as well as several other notable personalities from different walks of life.
Special prayers were offered for the elevation of the ranks of the deceased, Marvi Khursheed Malik.
The participants expressed their heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family and prayed for strength and patience for them in this difficult time.
