Farogh lauds role of institutions, political parties on COAS’s extension
ISLAMABAD, Jan 7 (APP):Federal Minister for Law and Justice Barrister Farogh Naseem on Tuesday said all the important institutions and political parties had played role for extension to services of Chief of the Army Staff (COAS).
The bill would be presented in the Senate on Wednesday for necessary approval, which would be passed with majority, he stated while speaking in a private news channel program.
In reply to a question about hearing of the review appeal regarding the extension matter, the minister said it was up to the judiciary to decide about hearing the case.
He lauded the role of all major political parties for supporting the bills in best national interest.
Farogh Naseem said the same spirit would also be required for the matters of national level in future.
