Farah Naz graces World Education Day at Dr. A. Q. Khan School & College

ISLAMABAD, Jan 24 (APP):Dr. A. Q. Khan School & College commemorated World Education Day, observing on 24th January, with due solemnity and enthusiasm.
Ms. Farah Naz Akbar, Federal Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training, marked the occasion by participating as the Chief Guest. The honourable guest was formally received by Brigadier (Retired) Dr. Muhammad Hanif, S.I. (M), Principal of the institution, along with senior members of the faculty.

The Principal apprised Ms. Farah Naz Akbar of the institution’s academic vision, educational pursuits, and continued efforts towards the provision of quality education. He also highlighted the challenges faced by educational institutions, particularly in ensuring a conducive, inclusive, and resource-efficient learning environment for students.
In her address to the gathering—comprising principals of various reputable institutions, faculty members, and students—Ms. Farah Naz Akbar underscored the central role of education in national development. She remarked that students represent the hope and future of the nation, and reaffirmed that the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training remains steadfast in addressing the evolving needs of students and educational institutions.
She further emphasised that education is the fundamental right of every child, and stated that the Ministry is working in close collaboration with federal and provincial stakeholders, educational institutions, and relevant partners to ensure equitable access to quality education for all segments of society.
Ms. Farah Naz Akbar lauded the efforts of Dr. A. Q. Khan School & College in fostering academic excellence, discipline, and holistic development among students. She encouraged learners to pursue knowledge with dedication, integrity, and a spirit of innovation, noting that a strong education system is the cornerstone of a progressive and enlightened society.
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening collaboration between the Ministry and educational institutions, reaffirming a shared resolve to empower the youth and contribute meaningfully to Pakistan’s educational advancement.
