Farah Naz Akbar urges student leaders to embody service and integrity

ISLAMABAD, Oct 28 (APP):The Islamabad Model College for Girls (IMCG) F-6/2 Tuesday hosted an Investiture Ceremony to formally induct the newly elected Student’s Council for the academic year 2025-26.
Addressing on the occasion, Farah Naz Akbar, Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training congratulated the newly elected student leaders and praised the college administration for providing students with opportunities to develop leadership qualities through democratic participation. She emphasized that true leadership is about service, integrity, and humility, not authority or privilege, said a press release.
“Leadership is not just a position, but an action,” she said, urging the student council members to perform their duties with honesty, discipline, and commitment.
She expressed confidence that the students would uphold the values of excellence, honesty, and dedication, and make their institution proud.
The ceremony concluded with the oath-taking ceremony of the new council, followed by a vote of thanks by the Principal, Prof. Aaliya Durrani.
