ISLAMABAD, Nov 7 (APP): Advisor to Prime Minister (PM) on
Economic Affairs Barrister Zafrullah Khan on Saturday said extra
curriculum activities are equally important, besides routine
studies, to develop and promote practical approach among students.
The Advisor said this while talking to media persons in
a colourful and impressive ceremony of 15th annual day of the
AIMS Education System under the theme of “Muslim Brotherhood”
at Sir Syed Memorial Society.
He appreciated the student’s efforts towards presenting
tableau, songs and their performances on diverse cultures of
14 Muslim countries.
Chief guest Barrister Zafrullah Khan also distributed
prizes among the students.
The Adviser visited stalls of the exhibition and
evinced keen interest in the cultures of Muslim countries
and various provinces of the country.
Chairman AIMS Education System Almas Ayub Sabir presented
a shield to the chief guest.
The students presented tableau about Aamul Feel and
Another impressive poem about the letter of Caliph Hazrat
Umer (RA) to Neil River was also presented in an enchanting way.
The stalls, depicting the heritages and cultures of
Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, United Arab Emirates,
Jordan, Yemen, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria Bangladesh,
Palestine and Turkey, had been set up.
The students presented a tableau, portraying cultures
of Sindh, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan and Gilgit
Baltistan. It was followed by a comic act, `Hotel, a dialogue
between Son an Father’.
